Hewitt Gate Services was started in 2010 by Gary Savage after years of hands-on work in fencing, automated gate systems, and entry control for other operations in Central Texas. Gary had done the work long enough to know how it should be done — and how it often wasn't. Starting his own company was the straightforward solution.
Today, Hewitt Gate Services handles gate installation, gate repair, automatic opener installation and service, access control systems, custom gate fabrication, and preventative maintenance for residential and commercial customers throughout Waco, TX and McLennan County. The company is still owner-operated, and Gary stays involved in every project to make sure the work meets his standard.
Waco is the base of operations and the community that matters most. Most customers are locals — homeowners, small business owners, and property managers who need gate work done right and don't want to deal with a company that treats them like a number. Gary Savage started Hewitt Gate Services after years of working in fencing and automated entry systems for other companies. He figured he knew the work well enough to do it right on his own terms.
These days, Gary cares most about making sure every install is done cleanly and that customers actually understand how their system works before he leaves the job site. He's on the tools, he talks to customers directly, and he stands behind every job the company does in Waco, TX and the surrounding area.
